MFM Mountain Top Life Devotional 2 May 2020 Outline
Accountants spend a great deal of time keeping financial records. They do not want to be caught unawares or be found guilty of any form of error. Everyone who lives on earth will one day be told to give an account of his life. The account must be honest and thorough. Any error will be unacceptable. All the certificates and awards that a person might have acquired become useless, once the person is dead. These are the “shakables” that shall be shaken away.

No amount of suffering on earth here can compare to hell fire. Sometime ago, somebody called me on the phone and she was crying, saying: “Dr. Olukoya, pray for me, I don’t want to die.” “What happened?” I asked her. She said: “I used to sleep with men who gave me contracts. But recently, I promised God that I will never do it again and that if I do, He should kill me.

But you see, I have done it again. So, please pray for me, I don’t want to die.” I told her that she was already dead, already she was dead in sin. I told her that I didn’t know what God would do with her since, it was by her own volition that she made a vow to God that He should kill her if she committed that sin again.

So many people are like that. It would be better for that sister to die as a pauper and go to heaven than to be rich and go to hell fire.

Although believers are not supposed to die as paupers, it is better for you to die as a pauper than to be rich and end up in hell fire. So, you better think about this and do a true and honest scriptural balancing of your life’s account.

It is terrible to know that some people are preparing themselves for hell fire. You must do everything you can to give a good account at the end of life. Heaven will check every record tendered. Take a sober look at your life today and make necessary amends. Settle your account with God.

Motivational Quote
When God wants to make you an instrument of achieving an uncommon feat, He will give you dreams which you will find hard to forget.

Prophetic Word
Every binding power that has been assigned against you should bite themselves to death.

Hymn – Take my life, and let it be consecrated

1. Take my life and let it be,
Consecrated, Lord, to Thee;
Take my moments and my days,
Let them flow in ceaseless praise.

2. Take my hands and let them move,
At the impulse of Thy love;
Take my feet and let them be
Swift and beautiful for Thee.

3. Take my voice and let me sing
Always, only, for my King;
Take my lips and let them be
Filled with messages from Thee.

4. Take my silver and my gold,
Not a mite would I with-hold;
Take my intellect and use
Every power as Thou shalt choose.

5. Take my will and make it Thine,
It shall be no longer mine;
Take my heart it is Thine own,
It shall be Thy royal throne.

6. Take my love my Lord, I pour
At Thy feet its treasure store;
Take myself and I will be
Ever, only, all for Thee.
– Frances Ridley Havergal

1. Let my land begin to experience rest, peace and joy, in the name of Jesus.
2. By the blood of Jesus, let my land be healed from sicknesses and diseases, in the name of Jesus.
3. Let death visit eaters of good things in my life, in the name of Jesus.

1. Any evil tongue arising against my increase, be cut off, in the name of Jesus.
2. I use the blood of Jesus to redeem by days, in the name of Jesus.
3. I use the blood of Jesus to redeem my nights from destruction that walks at night, in the name of Jesus.
4. Let the earth begin to yield its increase unto me, in the name of Jesus.
